Homophobia- Big Business!
Evangelicals & Republicans…Isn’t It Time to Give It a Rest? This is a hardsell given how profitable hate has been historically. Homophobia has been the biggest fundraising tool for the radical right since the fear of miscegenation and the fight against racial integration. Over $400 million tax free and homophobia driven dollars have been raised this year alone by the top ten Christian groups according to some recent research on the Internet. When will the hypocrisy end? As Joni Mitchell says in Dog Eat Dog –

This ends my series of shots from my diving trip in Belize in 2000. I call this painting Sputnik but didn’t get the name of the artist. This was hanging in an Internet Café on a jungle path to the beach.
