This is the first day I saw our cat Mimi. Vincenzo called her “a scrawnty thing.” I developed the negative and created this print while completing my first Masters degree in Education at Brooklyn College in 2003. Sadly, Mimi died rather quickly from liver failure on April 23, 2012.
