Eston learned about “light painting” at raves. After going on line and looking how to set up his digital camera for long exposures, he started making his own light paintings with his new Coolpix. Keep on painting with light Mr. Taylor.

This new series of 16 large (5′ X 6′) paintings explores the difficult and puzzling marital relationship between Sarah and Abraham found in Genesis in the Hebrew Bible.
Set in contemporary terms these narrative paintings scrutinize: monotheism and the goddess, the perils of self-sacrifice, Hagar, the demands of Divine decree and familial tragedy.
