Hi I am trying to find out some information on some prints that I have regarding Kessler;s Whisky. the name of the prints are:
1. 6 – day bike race -1878
2. Hockey – 1878
3. Racing -1878
Do you know of any web site or email that might be able to give me any information about these prints. They all say From the Private Collection of Mr. Julius Kessler. Any direction would be helpful.
Thank You

hi i have 6 prints with frames . contact me bill
i found a picture in my great grandma’s atic when I was little and its of the bike race it says 6 day bike race-1878. it has people on the bikes that have a big wheel in the front and a small one in the back, it is under some kind of big tent. There is a band and a whole bunch of people watching, these people ride bikes
Cool. Scan it and send me the file! What a great find.
I have an old sketch of horse racing that is titled “Racing 1878” At the bottom it says from the private collection of Mr. Julius Kessler. It has riders on horseback, Looks like judges in top hats under a canopy overlooking the race. It is at least 60 years old because it was always hanging in my grandparents house over the piano. It still has some of the original colors but there is some water damage at the bottom. I have always kept it in the glass front wooden frame and it is now in my safe. I would really like to know the worth of this sketch and who and where to look for help in locating its home.
Did you ever get an answer about your Kessler prints? I have some also and wondered if valuable.
