Wow! I don’t know what kind of a comment you’re looking for but my parents, Margret and Fritz Hilken owned this place in the 70’s and we lived upstairs. What memories. What a great picture! It looks like the tile floor is the same as when we were there! We moved to Long Island in 1971 and they sold the place and bought Hahn’s bakery in Succasunna, NJ in 1977. He’s retired now and living in Bangor, PA. Still does a little baking at home. Thanks for the memories. Going to forward the site to them.

what memories…..going there too buy fresh bread….the slicing machine…..the”george washington” spice cake!!!!! my parents owned a candy store on liberty/102nd st. the sights and sounds and smells of liberty ave great times….much more simple then.
The Best!!! I miss their cinnomon raisen bread. Their ces are unbelievable! Donuts out of this world. I’m going there soon.

I remember Hahns Bakery in Succasunna. I gratuated from high school in 1977 and I remember my mother taking us there for a cookie after she did her grocery shopping at ShopRite. Do you anything about the previous owners and the origin of the place?
