Time does change I lived there and I remember those faded signs of the past.Nathans deli and Sinnott florets next to bill Cornell’s funeral home Jerry’s city line music store.alot of fond memories.
Dear Robert – Thanks for stopping by. Yes fond memories indeed. Remember records? Even better, hanging out listening to them with your friends! Kids today don’t have the same tactile relationship to music we did. Eyeing the cover art. Looking at the credits. Reading the lyrics as the album played. The scratches. It was all so much more sensual. Today, we have iPods and iPhones and iTunes. OK. Moving forward. We have memories. They will have playlists. All the best, Frank
I remember waiting for Jerry to get in the latest Beatle’s record. The place was a mess but Jerry always knew where to find any record in the place, usually in a partially opened box on the floor. Worked many years at Sound Stationery store for Aaron and George.
