You can’t imagine my surprise as I came upon these photos. I was good friends with the late owner of this business and am still friends with his 97 year-old widow. They began Scranton Plastic Co. Inc. around 1948 and ran their “mom and pop” wholesale plastic business until 2005. They had several locations throughout the city of Scranton over the years, but this sign was at the site of their final warehouse and store.
