These faded signs on buildings are very nostalgic. Just like the tobacco industry in Robersonville, NC is fading.
i lived in that building from 47 to 64, my grandparents moved there from vermont in 1925

i would love to post this to facebook,there is a” we grew up in jersey city” site, we saw this everyday as i lived there 50 and 60 and played in the playground, boys loved throwing a ball as high as they could up the wall, i even have a pic of my mother as a teen on roof with her sister
