Please tell me that’s just a Photoshop creation, and not the classic Flatiron Building actually being polluted with an annoying banner ad! Poor old Edward Steichen must be spinning in his grave.

The site of the Flatiron Building has over a century of commercial signage history including the first moving electric signage. I love the Flatiron building more than most, but so long as it’s not permanently covering the facade, it is certainly within historic standards.
