A saddlery in Worcester??? Now that must be a really old ad!
I called the sign company and it is still in business. Macey Sign Co is a family run business since 1910 and this sign was one of the first they were commissioned to paint.

My grandfather, Charles F. Gibbons, founded and ran Macey from 1910 until his death in 1965. This is undoubtedly his work, as it was located only a block from the Macey shop. Added family history — my father, John P. Pierce, worked for Frank Cotter in that shop while in high school.
